What's New at Elam?
Elam Birthday Parties!
Bring your special Girl Scout to celebrate her special day with all her friends and take advantage of some great outdoor adventures along with all of the other things that make each birthday special! Girls can choose from either a 2 or 3 hour party pack with multiple a-la-carte activities to pick from. The Elam center staff will help you plan your event and make sure that everything is coordinated to make your day easier.
Each party pack will include an outdoor adventure program of your choice (see Option A) and a second choice (see Option B) if you choose a three hour pack. All packs will include an hour for you to plan your own activities such as cake and ice cream, games, or whatever your girls would like.

Cost for the party packs are $6 per Girl Scout for a 2 hour pack and $7 for a 3 hour pack. The cost per girl includes use of facility, staff led outdoor program(s), music, lights (if applicable) and sound system setup and operation. Time will be scheduled prior to the event for decorations to be setup if needed. You are responsible for your own food, drinks and snacks.

Have you ever thought of having a special event at the Elam Center?
Attention all service units, leaders, girls and parents! Hold your next special event at the Elam Environmental Center! The center is the perfect location for many of your special event needs such as Father/Daughter Dances, meetings and other types of Girl Scout gatherings.
The Elam Center can accommodate groups of up to 250 people, depending on the type and nature of the event. The Elam Center features:

A large main lobby with a beautiful backyard view

Multipurpose media/conference room

Restrooms

Kitchen and food prep area (minus a stove/oven, but has a microwave, refrigerator and plenty of counter space)

Food and drink serving counter that connects kitchen and multipurpose room

Foyer that could be used for a registration area

Coat room

Classroom/craft room

Library/meeting room
All of these areas are joined, allowing for easy group flow during large events (see photos below).
The Elam Center will provide groups with assistance in coordinating the use of the facilities along with providing an ample music library, a sound system, a DJ or MC, and special lighting. The Center will also provide tables and seating for the event along with ample parking and a private Girl Scout location where the girls come first. All services and staff assistance are included in the price of the event rental.
Groups are responsible for providing decorations, food, drink, and other items specific for their event. All groups will have access prior to the event for setup and time afterward to clean up.
