All Girl Scout Family Fishing Day

It's back! One of Elam's most popular programs is back and better than ever. Our pond has had a face lift and our fish have been growing big for the last 3 years. Bring the entire family for a great day at Becky's Pond. An old-fashioned day of pond fishing (all bait and tackle provided) for Girl Scouts and their families. A wonderful chance for girls to catch the fishing bug while enjoying quality family time. Big bass, bluegills, perch, crappies and channel cats are all available. Maximum 60 people. Family of up to four people $8. Each additional person age 5 and older $1. Includes a fishing patch for all Girl Scouts. Fee includes all bait and use of tackle, but you may also bring your own equipment.

Cost: $8 per family of 4, $1 for each additional family member over 5. Girl Scout troops pay the regular price of $6 per girl

All Girl Scout Family Fishing Night  

This is identical to the Family Fishing Day except it will be held Saturday, July 11, 2009 in the evening from 6 - 9pm.

Father/Daughter Fishing Derby at Becky's Pond  

Hey girls! Get your Dad off the couch to enter the Dad/Daughter (or Adult/Girl Scout) fishing derby. There will be prizes and fun for all. Each girl needs to team up with an adult of choice to enter. The Elam Center will provide bait and equipment so anyone can enter.
